QBX proportional electronic regulator for low pressures and flows

Managing pressure regulation in applications with low pressures and low flows is easy with the Proportion-Air QBX electro-pneumatic proportional pressure regulator. With customizable pressure ranges and accurate, repeatable results, these compact devices can improve application performance in nearly any environment.

Proportion-Air-QBX-electro-pneumatic-pressure-regulatorThe QBX boasts accuracy of up to ±0.2% and repeatability of ±0.02%, regulating pressures from full vacuum up to 175 psig or equivalent. The device will accommodate flow rates up to 1.2 scfm.

QBX units have two solenoid valves and a sensor. For single-loop units, known as the QB1X model, the internal pressure sensor monitors the output pressure for closed loop control and provides a monitor signal representing active pressure. The analog monitor signal is constantly compared against the command signal to achieve a desired set pressure. Double, or two-loop (QB2X) options use both the internal sensor and take an external signal from a transducer, load cell or other feedback device, ensuring that the entire assembly has high accuracy. Both single and double loop units can pilot volume boosters for higher flow applications.

This versatile unit can be modified in numerous ways to meet the most demanding applications. Options include customizable pressure ranges, manifold materials, command and monitor signals and more. Nearly any pressure unit of measure can be specified, including psi, bar and inches of water column, among many others. Many analog command inputs are available, including standard 4-20 mA and 0-10 VDC, as well as serial and specialty options like the P2 Profiler piecewise PLC.
