PHD Inc. created a compact gripper with two jaw styles for handling small objects in confined spaces, the Series 190 and 191 Parallel Pneumatic Grippers.

The Series 190 and 191 Parallel Pneumatic Grippers are suitable for various applications across many industries such as bearing manufacturing, batteries, medical, vehicle lighting equipment, light bulb manufacturing and assembly machine builders.

Moreover, these grippers have major advantages over other pneumatic grippers available in the market. Apart from its small size, these units provide true parallel jaw travel with no arching movements for effortless tooling design.

The pneumatic grippers also feature a rugged jaw and have a sturdy construction design, enabling it to withstand high shock and high impact loads.

Additionally, these units provide users with lots of customization options for maximum application versatility. The grippers are available in four sizes and are offered in two jaw travels, two jaw styles, three faces, or with mounting holes on one face.

Users can also avail optional spring assist that comes in four sizes. This extra can also be specified to get the highest amount of gripping force, and is also offered for sizes 19x7x to 19x9x. The units’ internal jaw mechanism is also made out of durable steel components that ensure a maintenance-free service life surpassing 10 million cycles.

Furthermore, Jaw travel adjustment kits are also offered. This package contains a lock nut and a screw to control the jaw opening on Jaw Style 2 parallel grippers. Apart from that, Jaw travel can be modified from zero opening to maximum opening.
