Nason’s complete line of pressure switches offers design engineers a choice of low to high pressure switch models ranging from 2 to 7500 psi. The pressure switches use a long-life elastomer diaphragm that engages a snap action switch for consistent and accurate operation. High pressure models use a proven sealed piston sensor to withstand the highest pressures. Models are available for both pneumatic and hydraulic applications.
Accuracy
Elastomer diaphragm and pistons move a precise 0.040 of an inch to ensure accurate instantaneous contact under all types of operating conditions. While nitrile is preferred for general use for diaphragms, the company can also provide ethylene, propylene, fluorocarbon, fluosilicon and neoprene depending on what fluid is being used. Nason tests every switch for accuracy prior to shipment.
Reliability
Under most operating conditions, Nason switches have a service life of over one million cycles. Smart design, quality components and careful assembly make a switch with a long life.
Flexibility
The company offers adjustable and factory preset models that are customizable for most any design. Nason offers media connections in NPT, SAE and BSPP, as well as numerous electrical connections for any application.
