Diaphram Valve for Control Applications

November 12, 2010 By kjohnson

The new DIASTAR pneumatic diaphragm valve now has doubled its’ Cv value(coefficient of flow), hence the energy expenditure can be reduced considerably. At the same time the flow characteristic is very linear and thus well suited for control applications.  Features like pivoting air connections and pre-tensioned spring-kits facilitate installation and maintenance enormously. The accessory interface allows simple integration into facility automation.  A position sensing circuit can be set up to tell allow the user verify valve position.

Fields of Application

  • Chemical Process Industry
  • Microelectronics
  • Water Treatment
  • Food and Beverage
  • Measurement and Control

Options

  • Self-adjusting electrical feedback
  • Stroke limiter/ manual override
  • Pilot valves
  • AS-Interface
  • Positioner
  • Valve cluster with bus-communication
