Beswick Engineering (www.beswick.com) has introduced its latest dry break quick disconnect, which sets a new industry standard for high performance and miniaturization.
Specifically manufactured and designed for applications requiring leak-tightness, space, light weight and durability, the new dry break quick disconnect is suitable for medical and dental equipment, laboratory equipment, instruments, aerospace equipment, semiconductor and manufacturing equipment, industrial robots and packaging machinery.
Weighing only 15 grams, the dry break quick disconnect features a stainless steel construction and has the ability to connect without the need of any leakage and fluid spray. It can also disconnect with minimal dead volume. In addition, both its external and internal ends are offered with 10-32 external or internal threads. For leak tight protections, it also comes with captured O-ring seals.
Aside from the all new dry break miniature quick disconnect, the company also offers other types of miniature quick disconnects, which include screw type, snap type, single-line, bayonet type, double shut-off, single shut-off, threaded and barbed connections as well as multi-line configurations. Panel mount versions are also available.
The multi-line variants ensure proper orientation while delivering exceptionally quick connections. Meanwhile, the snap type versions feature a locking sleeve that allows one-hand disconnecting or connecting. This effectively simplifies component replacement and allows for rapid set-up and breakdown of fluid or air lines. Its internal end comes with an automatic shut-off valve.
