Rexroth’s Pneumatic Valve Manifold System features modular, sturdy design

The modular and sturdy design of Rexroth’s (www.boschrexroth.com) CD01/02-PI pneumatic valve manifold system allows it to deliver great flexibility at a high level of standardization. Featuring a wide flow range, the valve system provides the right solution for most control environments and applications.

The CD01 valves measures 26 mm in width and offers a flow rate of up to 1.35 Cv (1350 liters per minute), while the CD02 valves features a width of 18 mm and a maximum flow rate of 0.65 Cv (650 liters per minute). In addition, valves with varying flow rates can be combined easily on the same valve manifold even without the need of transition plates.

Controlling up to 32 outputs, the Series CD01/02-PI valve manifold system complies with ISO standard 15407-2 as its electrical and pneumatic connections are simultaneously established in the base plate.

To simplify machine design, all pneumatic and electrical connections face one direction only. Meanwhile, plug-in valves allow for quick and easy exchange of valves in the valve terminal system.

Offering various actuation options, Rexroth’s valve manifold system can be actuated through numerous multi-pin plugs, in either 110 VAC or 24 VDC, while working with commonly used field bus protocols such as Ethernet/IP, PROFIBUS DP, Sercos III, EtherCAT, DeviceNet and CANopen.

Offered with push-in or threaded ISO-G (BSPP) or NPT ports, the CD01/02-PI valve manifolds also features either glandless (metal) or soft-seal (rubber) spool and sleeve valve options. This makes the valve manifold system ideal for areas that require a high degree of flexibility, modularity and high flow rates, such as in automotive industry, packaging or in general machine construction.
