Norstat Inc. now carries a full line of aluminum enclosures that are universal, sturdy and easily adapt to the installation of electrical, electronic or pneumatic components making them particularly well suited for harsh environments or wherever a rugged, well designed enclosure is warranted.

Norstat multi-box aluminum enclosures EX-PROOF-300DPI-Standard aluminum enclosures are manufactured with aluminum die casting or gravity casting and are finished with a polyester-based powder paint which has been tested for durability with a 1000-hour salt spray test. Also available are Ex-enclosures which are used when explosive concentrations of gases, vapors or dust occurs creating a potentially hazardous application.

As terminal enclosures they can be assembled into a modular system with the addition of separate clamps and cable glands. In measurement and control technology applications they are often used for encapsulating sensors and can also serve as junction boxes for cables and lines and are extremely well suited for protecting extremely sensitive electronics against water, dirt, and dust.

Sealing material is polyurethane, surface coating is powder coating, operating temperatures range between –40° to 100°C and all boxes are suitable for indoor or outdoor use. Special colors are available to meet any specific customer requirements.
