I’d like to introduce myself as the newest Senior Editor for Design World. I’ll be focusing on pneumatics and mobile hydraulics, along with covering some other technologies. As such, I’m the new “host,” as it were, for our Pneumatic Tips and Mobile Hydraulic Tips websites and eNewsletters.
A little bit about me: I have a BS in Engineering Science & Mechanics from Georgia Tech with minors in Technical Communications and Bioengineering. I’ve covered the fluid power industry for more than 13 years. After a stint with a magazine group covering another area of focus, I’m thrilled to be back in fluid power. And I’m looking forward to reconnecting with so many former industry friends.
I encourage each of you to follow me on Twitter: @wtwh_paul and also to join our great Engineering Exchange social networking center. We have almost 8,000 engineers actively participating in the Exchange—uploading videos, debating issues, asking technical questions, and more. It’s such a valuable tool for you.
As part of the Exchange, we have a Pneumatic and Fluid Power groups. I plan to make them more active than they’ve been in the past, so please take a moment, sign up now, and you can even “friend” me on the Exchange.
If you have any suggestions for future articles or news coverage, comments on what we’ve been running, or just want to say hello, please drop me a line at pheney@wtwhmedia.com.
