Norgren has unveiled an addition to its wide range of proportional valves with the new Flatprop EQP manufactured by its Swiss-based subsidiary Fluid Automation Systems (FAS).
Flatprop EQP proportional valves draw its design from the 16mm Flatprop EQI, one of the company’s proportional valves that enable miniaturization of Acute, Sub-Acute and Emergency or Ambulatory Care Ventilators.
To match the proven efficiency of Flatprop EQI valve, the new Flatprop EQP can deliver more flow up to 40 percent, exceeding the EQI. EQP valves have been tested and validated with the same high standards of life expectancy and reliability with an excess of 100 million cycles.
Flatprop EQP delivers 186 liters of oxygen per minute at 2.0 Bat inlet pressure, maintaining low power consumption of 2.5W. This proportional valve has frictionless operation ensuring repeatability and accuracy with the minimal hysteresis to where medical device manufacturers have relied on.
