Parker Hannifin Corporation offers a complete range of compact pneumatic cylinders with its P1P Series, suitable for handling, packaging and processing applications within the food industry.

P1P Series features a compact design and offers several installation alternatives, making it flexible to use in narrow spaces. This product has corrosion-resistant design coupled with anodized aluminum end covers and piston rod made of stainless steel for corrosive environment applications. The cylinder’s body is made of anodized aluminum barrel with hard internal surface for excellent operation.

P1P compact cylinder was developed with high performance and quality in conformity with the ISO 21287 requirements.

This compact cylinder can perform at high speed and short cycle times with its efficient elastic cushioning which enables absorption of residual energy. The elastic material at the end of the piston allows smooth, low noise operation.

Compared with ISO 15552 cylinders, P1P cylinders are 50 percent shorter and can be used in a wider range of applications with its very compact axial dimensions.

P1P cylinder also comes with various mountings and accessories including flange MF1/MF2 and foot bracket MS1 that allows fixed mounting of cylinder which can be fitted to the front- or rear-end-plates of cylinder, pivot bracket with rigid bearing as well as clevis bracket MP2 which allow flexible mounting of cylinder.

Other accessories include mounting kit for back to back mounted cylinders, swivel rod eye, clevis and flexo coupling for articulated cylinder mounting, as well as nut used for fixed mounting of accessories to the piston rod and drop-in sensors which can be installed from the side in the sensor groove.
