Nitra-G-thread-fittings-imageAutomationDirect’s NITRA line of pneumatics products now offers G-thread push-to-connect fittings and flow control valves. G-threaded components are made with strong thermoplastic (PBT) or nickel-plated brass bodies and stainless steel tube gripping claws and have a pre-applied O-ring to seal.

Available in 4 to 10mm sizes, the bodies of elbow fittings can be rotated after installation to allow for variations in piping direction. NITRA G-thread fittings are designed with a working pressure of -29.5” Hg to 150 psi and a working temperature of 32 to 140°F; polyurethane or nylon 12 tubing is easily connected by simply inserting the tubing end into the fitting. Fittings are available in straight and elbow styles.

NITRA pneumatic G-thread flow control (speed controller) valves provide accurate airflow regulation for speed control of pneumatic cylinders. Available in elbow meter-in or meter-out configurations, these flow control valve bodies can be rotated after installation to allow for variations in piping direction.
