Festo has expanded its VG compact and VS sturdy valve series. Announced at Hannover Fair this week, the new VUVG-…-S and VUVS-…-S are the ideal solutions for pneumatic automation technology and are available in 24 hours at competitive prices.
With focused features that meet the key requirements of solenoid valves, the compact VUVG-…-S and the sturdy VUVS-…-S are suitable for 80% of all compact or heavy-duty pneumatic applications.
Festo has invested in highly automated systems at its new Scharnhausen Technology Plant in Southern Germany for the production of the new VG and VS valve ranges, so that it can deliver several million valves for bulk orders at short notice.
Compact valve VUVG-…-S
The VUVG-…-S is designed as a compact valve. It is the ideal pneumatic individual valve for countless applications, including for small parts assembly, for the electronics, food and packaging industries, as well as for special machine construction. The pneumatic valve is simply made for tight installation spaces.
This compact range comprises valves and valve terminals for applications where installation space, weight, flow rate and mounting considerations are important. It meets many user requirements thanks to the high level of flexibility offered by the modular system.
Sturdy valve VUVS-…-S
Its focused and sturdy characteristics mean that the VUVS-…-S is able to play a key role in many sectors and markets, from conveying and filling plants to the wood industry, as well as in actuation of cylinders or compressed air networks. The pneumatic valve with its modern design covers up to 80% of all applications in tough and harsh environments in automation technology. The VUVS-…-S can be used with an operating pressure of 2 to 8 bar and a flow rate of up to 1000 lpm. What’s more, the heavy-duty valve is suitable for use in a temperature range of –5 to 50° C.
With its robust design, the VUVS-…-S combines features required for operation in harsh environments such as impact resistance, mounting options and ease of handling. An extensive range of mounting accessories provides various options for integrating these valves into any machine concept.
