Esco Tool (www.escotool.com) has released its pneumatic saw and quick-clamp assembly.
Equipped with Esco Tool’s 90 psi compressed air supply, the APS-438 Air-Powered Saw and Quick-Clamp enable users to cut up to 15 feet wide and two inches thick of steel plate.
When cutting the plates, users of the APS-438 Air-Powered Saw and Quick-Clamp need not transport the tools to a large table saw since it can now be easily taken to the steel plate and conveniently produce square cuts even without a heat affected zone (HAZ).
In addition, the pneumatic saw features fiberglass reinforced blades as well as a W steel track that measures two inches. It also comes with two wedge-style clamps for easy attaching to the plate. The saw mounts rigidly on a bracket that seamlessly glides along the track thanks to a four V-grooved steel wheels.
To simplify alignment and set up for workers, the Quick Clamp offers a cut line indicator gauge as its track features a five to 15 foot sections. Moreover, the company’s APS-438 Air-Powered Saw derives its power from a three horsepower motor.
Specifically designed to deliver maximum rigidity, the APS-438 Air-Powered Saw and Quick-Clamp Assembly can also cut up to four inches thick of boiler tube panels.
