Creative automation and Sterling Engineering form partnership

creative-automation-merger-imageCreative Automation, Inc. and Sterling Engineering & Manufacturing jointly announced a partnership in which Sterling Engineering and its president, James B. Canner, now represent Creative Automation. Gerd Walter, Creative Automation’s Vice President of Operations, said, “Sterling’s full range of special technologies and processes are now offered under the Creative Automation name.” James Canner added, “I am pleased to have this opportunity to use my engineering management experience to help Creative Automation expand its markets.”

Creative Automation, Inc. formed in 1994 and located in Whitmore Lake, Michigan, is a provider of Custom Automated Solutions for industry with a focus on Machine Tool Tending, Material Handling, Dispensing and Deburring operations. Creative is both a Robotic Industries Association (RIA) Certified Robotics Integrator and an Authorized Systems Integrator for FANUC Robotics.

Sterling Engineering & Manufacturing formed in 1943 and located in Royal Oak, Michigan, has been active in the automation field for more than 40 years with a focus in Heat Treat, Forging and Die Casting Operations. With these years of experience in cost-efficiently integrating today’s technology with existing systems, Sterling Engineering and its sister companies, Sterling Systems and Sterling Detroit, bring significant expertise to the partnership with Creative Automation.

This new team relationship will assure Sterling customers of full future support and allow Creative to bring additional solutions to its customers.
