ControlAir LLC announced that it has added a 0–5 psig output range to its Type 900X Miniature I/P, E/P Transducer, expanding low-pressure control options for precision pneumatic applications.
The Type 900X Transducer uses a closed-loop, self-correcting design to maintain accurate, stable pressure control, including in environments with vibration, temperature variation or fluctuating supply pressure. The new 0–5 psig output option extends this capability to applications that require ultra-low pneumatic pressures.
The Type 900X is intended for industrial environments and provides ±0.10% of span accuracy, hysteresis and repeatability to support consistent pressure control across its operating range. Its compact housing, flexible mounting options and integral volume booster support fast response and high flow capacity while keeping air consumption low.
The new 0–5 psig output range supports applications such as low-force actuators, precision positioning systems, laboratory and test equipment, and specialty valve and damper control that require accurate low-pressure regulation.
The Type 900X is available with multiple input options, including 4–20 mA and voltage signals, and supports a range of pneumatic output options. A 0–5 psig output range is offered with supply pressures from 10 to 30 psig (0.7 to 2.1 bar). Accuracy, hysteresis and repeatability are specified at ±0.10% of span with a 0.02% span deadband, and air consumption is approximately 1.5 scfh (0.75 Nl/min) at mid-range typical.
The operating temperature range is -40° to +158°F (-40° to +70°C). The unit features 1/4″ NPT or BSPP pneumatic porting and a NEMA 4X (IP65) enclosure.
