Bimba Introduces SPCS Version 2Bimba Manufacturing announced the latest innovation in its family of pneumatic motion control products. The SPCS Version 2 (SPCS-2) is a high flow servo pneumatic control valve that provides electric-like closed loop motion control when used with direct feedback pneumatic actuators such as Bimba’s PFC, PFCN and PTF models.

The SPCS-2 eliminates the need to change manual switches or adjust rotary potentiometers during system setup. System configuration and setup is completed using a standard USB connection and Bimba’s SPCS-2 software. Additionally, the Bimba SPCS-2 is IP65 compatible and can be used with Bimba’s Ultran® rodless actuators with an external positioning transducer. The many features of SPCS-2 make it easier to use pneumatic motion control positioning for payloads up to 450 lbs and velocities up to 15 inches per second.
