ContiTech Air Spring Systems is expanding its service for industrial customers in the NAFTA region. Beginning May 11th, the global air spring manufacturer will take responsibility for all customer support functions from its plant in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. The company also now offers its customers complimentary product training courses.
As part of restructuring, ContiTech also invested in new machines and personnel, thus reducing the lead times considerably.
ContiTech also offers a training service for its customers in the NAFTA region . Since the application of air springs can vary considerably from system to system, customized solutions are often required. To achieve this, ContiTech Air Spring Systems offers its customers in the NAFTA region technical support, product modifications to suit the application specifications and advanced product training courses.
During the two-day training class, the participants learn about ContiTech’s industrial air spring product range, technical data sheet content and troubleshooting, as well as sizing and selecting air actuators for automation systems or air springs for vibration isolation applications. They also learn about ContiTech’s Online Catalogue.
“This training is a complimentary offering for our new or existing customers. Anyone in need of enhanced technical application and product training should feel free to contact me,” says Duesing, who conducts the training courses. “One thing is clear to us: It is through this type of intensive training that our partners and customers can understand the inherent advantages of these products and how they add substantial value to our customers’ machine design and operating costs,” said Douglas Duesing, product manager at ContiTech Air Spring Systems in the NAFTA region.
