The program provides you with an interactive tool to build and assemble ANSI/ISA 76.00.02-compliant miniature modular designs prior to the purchase process. The software is available for download from <a href="http://www.swagelok.com/" target="_blank">www.swagelok.com</a> or as a CD installation.</p>
<p>“With the MPC configurator, you can have a ‘try before you buy’ experience for their system design,” said Doug Nordstrom, market manager, analytical instrumentation, Swagelok Company. “Our tool lets you pick your component, platform layout, and even fluid type to produce a live flow model so you can see graphical representation of flow through a system.”</p>
<p>The configurator features integrated flow data such as flow coefficient (<em>C<sub>v</sub></em>), volumetric flow rate, and volume for a wide variety of fluids. Then, users can simulate valve actuation to see how the flow reacts. Flow streams are color-coded for easy evaluation. Component selection features Swagelok MPC components and the ability to use custom components when creating a system.</p>
<p>From the configurator, users can create several types of reports to support their design. The software generates 2-D design schematics (P&amp;ID view exportable through AutoCAD® 2010), a 3-D real view (exportable to SolidWorks®), and/or a bill of materials (BOM) for purchasing. A project report feature also provides a BOM and assembly diagrams package. All outputs can be saved to the user’s local machine.</p>

<p>The pumps can satisfy a wide range of high-capacity applications,  including medical therapeutic devices and diagnostic equipment, ideal  for both suction and positive pressure devices. Their closed and durable  compressor housing is designed to minimize noise (and an optional  silencer can be specified for applications requiring extremely quiet  operation).</p>
<p>These N838 pumps exhibit high pneumatic capacity and can achieve flow  rates up to 42 LPM per head under atmospheric conditions, ultimate  vacuum of 100 mbar abs. (27 in. Hg), and maximum continuous pressure of 7  psig. The pumps operate oil-free to retain purity of the pumped medium.</p>
<p>Their patented multi-port valve system integrates a circular valve disk  spanning several smaller holes (instead of one large hole) to minimize  deformation from stress, resist damage from condensate, and promote  enhanced flow and increased efficiency. The design of the patented  FEA-designed structured molded diaphragm eliminates the metal clamping  disk that can become a source for leakage or corrosion in conventional  pump models.</p>
<p>Modular pump design offers OEMs the versatility to choose from a wide  variety of standard materials, performances, voltages, frequencies, and  accessories (including noise and dust filters, hose connectors, and  shock mounts) to meet particular application demands.</p>

The NPK04 is ideal for use as a  transfer pump, is available in compressor or vacuum pump models and can  be operated in any position. Its sealed, swing piston moves media  oil-free and without adding contamination. Despite its size, it features  3.3 liters per minute of free flow, and is available in an optimized  version for vacuum (max. 21.6 in. Hg) or pressure (max 31 psig)  generation. Two motor options include standard DC or an economical  brushless-dc motor.</p>
<p>The BLDC model is only 2.5 in. long, is available with optional logic  speed control interface and features low EMI/RFI. The pump is  maintenance-free, very quiet, and exhibits low vibration, low current  and power consumption, making it ideal for mobile, battery-powered  applications. All standard KNF pumps can be customized to meet specific  OEM performance requirements. It is suitable for use in medical and  analytical instruments, ink-jet printers, and pneumatic supply functions  for prosthetic devices and ergonomic furniture.</p>

<p>These pumps feature as standard specially engineered multi-port valves  to tolerate condensation without damage, perform oil-free transfer with  uncontaminated flow and minimal maintenance, and run quietly with low  vibration. They can achieve enhanced gas tightness with leak rates as  low as 6 x 10-3 mbar L/s, deep vacuum potential of 2 mbar, and flows as  high as 110 L/min.</p>

<p>Easy to follow graphical touch-screens provide total navigational  control of the central vacuum system. The setup screen, for example,  allows for the naming of loading stations, pumps, purge valves and  material sources so you know exactly what is in each hopper and where it  is located.</p>
<p>Manifold sharing capabilities allow the 24/128 to reduce the cost for  tubing and purge valves and can stage and sequence six vacuum pumps per  manifold line. The 24/128 can assign each loading station to any of the  pumps connected to the same manifold. When a loader senses demand, the  controller triggers the assigned pump to convey. If more than one loader  on the manifold needs material simultaneously from different pumps, the  controller&#8217;s manifold sharing function will then stage the pumps so  that they can use the same manifold. The first pump will begin, and when  its demand is filled, the next pump will be triggered. The result is a  flexible system with minimal tubing and purge valves.</p>
<p>The touchscreen display provides an icon based platform for easy  maintenance, operation and troubleshooting. Easy to read diagnostics,  operation and installation instructions as well as spare parts  information are all available from the touch screen.</p>

<p>Typical applications include medical diagnostics,  industrial dosing systems, fuel cells, semiconductor processing, and  wafer analysis, among others.</p>
<p>The FEM 1.02 pump achieves flow rates from  0.2 ml/min to 20 ml/min and FEM 1.09 pump from 0.9 ml/min to 90 ml/min.   Both versions are small (62mm x 75mm x 63mm), cover a wide dosing range  (1:100), operate oil-free with virtually no maintenance, and can serve  reliably for more than 10,000 hours.</p>
<p>Among other features, these pumps are  self-priming to 8.5 in.Hg, demonstrate consistency over time (1%  repeatability), and exhibit excellent leak-tightness and chemical  resistance.  An innovative valve system minimizes head volume by  ensuring that air cannot collect inside the pump head.  Depending on  pump version, head materials include polypropylene (PP) or PVDF and  internal elastomeric components are manufactured from EPDM, FFPM, and  PTFE.  Pumps are both easy to operate and to adjust.  Ports are  available in UNF ¼-28 or compression fittings.</p>
<p>Modular pump design offers OEMs the  versatility to choose from a wide variety of standard materials,  voltages, frequencies, accessories, and options to satisfy application  demands.</p>

<p>Anver VR Series Mini-Vacuum Pumps are  powered by compressed  air and employ the venturi principle to  achieve a 26” Hg vacuum with only 0.74 to 1.27 SCFM air flow, depending  upon size.  Providing millisecond attach and release, the pump,  suspension, and suction  cup are one unit and can be positioned close to the load to  minimize the potential for vacuum loss through tubing.</p>
<p>Constructed of aluminum and brass, Anver VR  Series Mini-Vacuum Pumps can be supplied with a wide variety of  suspensions and suction  cups in different sizes and materials.  Requiring only 72  psi supply pressure, they use standard compressed air logic, components,  and fittings for easy integration into single item EOAT and manifolds  for picking up multiple products.</p>

Perfect for automotive applications including air suspension, air  doors, air horns, air brakes and clutches, and fuel systems, the 309  Series meets radiated emission requirements and is RoHS compliant.</p>

<p>The 309 Series also features oil-less  operation, die-cast aluminum components, steel mounting brackets and  isolators, all wetted aluminum parts, a stainless steel inlet  valve and a thermally protected motor. The 309 Series provides up to  26.75 in.Hg (-904.1 mbar) and 160 psi (11 bar) of maximum intermittent  pressure. In addition, the 309 Series has restart capability to maximum  pressure.</p>

<p>The pump ideally suits portable,  battery-operated equipment used in a wide range of OEM applications,  including gas sampling, explosives detection devices, anesthesia  systems, and medical analyzers, among others.</p>
<p>Among features, the pump’s elastomeric  diaphragm promotes high efficiency and delivers oil-free operation  without any risk of contaminating the sampled gas.  Pumps can be  specified either with an ironless core DC motor or with a brushless DC motor  offering longer service life.  PEEK housings and pump heads contribute  high stiffness and temperature and chemical resistance.</p>
<p>Depending on model, these pumps can achieve  flow rates to 2.1 l/m, vacuum to 650 mbar (11 in. Hg) absolute, and  continuous pressure to 0.6 bar g (9 psig).  All are engineered to  perform maintenance-free with low power requirements and are supplied  ready for installation to operate in any position.</p>
<p>Chemically resistant versions are available  and pumps can otherwise be customized to meet particular application  demands.</p>
