Pneumatic Switch for Heavy duty situationsAMS Calibration has released the NOSHOK 400 series of heavy duty mechanical pressure switches.

Designed for use across a range of applications such as hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps and compressors and in power generation, the switches provide a stable switching point setting.

The 400 series switch converts pneumatic and hydraulic pressure into switching functions and is designed for applications that require accuracy under high loads.

The switching point is fully adjustable through an adjustment knob with the adjustment range, and includes a locking mechanism.

AMS Calibration’s switch is SPDT, and can be normally open (N.O.) or normally closed (N.C.) depending on the wiring.

The 400 Series Switch is fitted with DIN EN 175301-803 Form A connectors for fast and easy installation.

It is also available with an LED indicator on the plug for visual monitoring of the switch status, or an M12 x 1 (4-pin) electrical connection.

The switch features a repeatability of ±2% of full scale, 360° rotatable male connections, high loadability (shock 30g, vibration 10 g) and Hirschmann (DIN EN 175301-803 Form A) with optional 36″ cable.

Almatec announced the availability of its latest metal pneumatic diaphragm pump, the Almatec CHEMICOR Series, for use if the handling and transfer of chemicals.

The Almatec CHEMICOR Series

The Almatec CHEMICOR Series

The heart of the CHEMICOR pumps is their product chambers, which have been designed to meet the sensitive needs of chemical handling thanks to their soft contours, smooth flow channels and absence of dead spaces. CHEMICOR pumps are available in three volume sizes: 75-lpm/20-gpm (AD 20), 150-lpg/40-gpm (AD 32) and 400-lpm/100-gpm (AD 50). The CHEMICOR’s components have been chosen with chemical compatibility in mind, including a stainless-steel, precision-cast housing, diaphragms of EPDM and PTFE, and ball valves consisting of EPDM and PTFE.

Additional features include a compact solid design, easy start-up, an absence of drives, rotating parts and shaft seals, gentle displacement, dry-running and self-priming operation, no diaphragm discs, an integrated muffler, and a patented maintenance-free air-control system (PERSWING) without a dead center. Optional features are a pulsation damper, draining system, barrier-chamber system, diaphragm monitor, stroke counting and extended special ports for sanitary connections.

Hudson, MA – A new line of adjustable air-powered, venturi vacuum pumps that are designed for handling porous materials and operating in contaminated environments is being introduced by Anver Corporation.

anver-qvdf-pump.jpg

Anver Q-VDF Series Adjustable Vacuum Pumps feature a diffuser section which can be rotated by the user to control the compressed air flow and provide vacuum flow rates to 120 SCFM and vacuum levels to 25”Hg. Ideally suited for handling porous materials and operating in dirty environments, these adjustable pumps allow debris to pass straight through their bodies.

Virtually maintenance-free, Anver Q-VDF Series Adjustable Vacuum Pumps have no moving parts and no gaskets or O-rings that can break down. Available with barrel sizes from 0.1” to 0.75” I.D., applications are as diverse as the pick-and-place handling of concrete block and packaging materials coated with fine powder, as well as air-driven industrial vacuum cleaners.

The micropump additionally benefits from a unique diaphragm that promotes high efficiency and flow and helps the pumped medium remain pure and contaminant-free. These micropumps enable safe, oil-free operation without maintenance. Corrosion-resistant wetted parts reinforce their ability to withstand especially harsh conditions. The pumps are powered by cost-effective brush DC motors or brushless DC motors where applications demand extended service life and low EMI/RFI.

All NMS020 micropumps can be tailored to meet particular OEM requirements with a wide range of custom materials, finishes, coatings, and value-added options, including shock and vibration isolation components, restart mechanism against vacuum/pressure, and specialized connections, among others. Pumps are supplied ready for installation and can be mounted in any position.
