Bosch Rexroth Corporation offers the Series CD04 Directional Control Valves, which are inline pneumatic directional control valves with 1/8-inch PTF ports offering high flow despite their compact size.
The Series CD04 comprise various versions ensuring application flexibility. Available models include pneumatically actuated control valves, electrically actuated ones and mechanically/manually actuated variants.
Compared to other inline pneumatic directional control valves offered in the market, Rexroth’s valves offer many benefits such as a rotatable coil, 3-way or 5-way spool set-ups, multiple actuation options, locking manual override, as well as a compact and lightweight design.
Apart from being suited to vacuum or dual pressure applications, these valves are also an excellent choice for lubricated or non-lubricated air. They are universally applicable thanks to their standard 22mm Form B electrical connection. Moreover, the three-way variants are also capable of reverse porting for normally open or normally closed functions.
These valves feature a compact die cast zinc polyamide/fiberglass reinforced body, available in ISO G1/8 (BSPP) ports or 1/8-inch PTF ports that offer flows of up to 0.9 Cv. In addition, their ‘zero overlap’ spool ensures definitive switching status.
However, the pressure dew point should be at least 59°F (15°C) under ambient and medium temperature should not go beyond 37°F (3°C). The oil content of the air pressure should also remain the same during the life cycle, and users must only utilize approved oils from Bosch Rexroth Corporation.
